I know it sounds like a big joke but since the Amish are not allowed to have a phone line (something about Satan and the Telco sleeping together) they are looking at Wireless. I know of a few who would like to have broadband, but the church is an issue. You see some Amish farmers must use electricity for their dairy farms, with that they have to have some computer control on inventory and production. Most of that is being done via the internet and thus the lack of phone line issue... I know it is screwed up, but if I can help someone maintain their livelihood while keeping them in good graces with their church I see it as a win win.... I have yet to expand up there but talks are ongoing about a spot on a new monopole near one of the farms.... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rob Genovesi" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, September 30, 2003 14:58 Subject: Re: [smartBridges] WISPCON in Silicon Valley???
