cheap enough. The link distances are amazing. When linking communities together
like this the actual Internet is less important as they are making their own
Internet. It could be a challenge to keep enemies from pulling down remote
repeaters or injecting worms into the network. Wireless does seem to be an idea
way for such a country to build a communications network starting from the
individual and building upwards. Totally different from waiting for the
national telephone company to come to your village with a big cable (you could
wait 100 years). There is no waiting, just get together and start doing it :-) Excellent. |
