Hi George, You are saying that the indoor unit was working about 6-7months and suddenly unable to see any AP from the site survey TAB, right?
Please verify the Dial-power settings should be adjusted to the correct antenna power with maximum/minimum transmission power. Have you tried with another radio? Can you see the available access point from the site survey? If yes, then use the recovery utility or simpleDeploy on the problem unit and see if there is any positive result. http://www.smartbridges.com/beta/utility/RecoveryUtility.exe Best regards, Seeni sB Tech Support [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of George Sent: Wednesday, October 08, 2003 12:03 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [smartBridges] Another SB bites.... er the dust. Not sure what firmware. But that same firmware worked for 6 to 7 months. I really doubt upgrading firmwares is the problem. If the thing worked for that period of time it should continue to keep working. As for what it didn't do. it stopped working. The blue lite was blinking. When I did a site survey, it didn't show any AP's in the area. Even though it is a 1/4 mile from the AP that it was supposed to be connected to. And there are at least 4 other AP's that should pop up in a survey. This was an indoor radio sitting on a desk indoors wired to 20' of lmr 400 connected to an antenna on the outside of the house. Installed different radio and the sub was working flawlessly. I's like to see a response from SB on this matter. George Martin Moreno wrote: > 1. what firmware did you have on it? > 2.
