Are you in town or in the wood.

I use 12db omni but I'm in the middle of nowhere.

I'm suppose to get a 250mw AGC amp. Hop it doesn't start making funny things.

With a 500mw, you are above FCC unless you have a lenght of coax.

But a splitter with the 2 sector will bring you to 35 - 36dbm.

You may be right about the Omni hearing everything.  When I switched channels it improved on of my repeaters link and now my APPO Total LQ falls off sharply.

I have  2 190 sectors on the way and I hope they help the situation.

Thanks for the information.

If you are in a busy environnement.

A 500mw & a omni will hear to much crap.

I would installed another APP to see if you have a bad one.

I run couple APP & they never freeze or nothing.

They are up since 8 month & I never went down .

Subject: [smartBridges] APPO Lock out

Last weekend I got locked out of my head AP after doing a few changes skipping channels and power settings.  I was not aware at that time but today I was trying to find a better channel to support all my links at a good LQ.

I changed my channels and everything was good.  I changed channels again and it was fine too.  I change  power settings to a lower setting and it was fine.  I then changed it back to a high setting, tried to change the channel all in about 1.5 minutes and now me nor my clients can associate with the APPO.  Was I taxing it too much?

Is there such a think as a lockout after too many tries?  Last week it just came back after being down for 36 hours.  I reset it anyways and it is was fine until I made changes.

I also have a 500mW bi-directional amp on it with a 12 dbi Omni.

Any ideas?
