Thanks Jason. Actually I mainly use an Airaya link for the speed... they net out at about 45Mbps after overhead but I need a backup in place should something go wrong. These are ideal for backup especially for the price.
So if its only marginally faster to go with a AP to AP setup, I'm cool with what I have. It is only slightly faster, right? === Rick Kosick StarLinX Internet Service ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jason" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, November 05, 2003 10:54 PM Subject: RE: [smartBridges] Setup Advice Please Power that sucker all the way up unless you are in the same room... Even then, who cares - we're all going to have cancer eventually anyway - just kidding :) Really, use the max setting. It sounds like you have it working successfully - congrats. If it is doing what you need, you aren't missing anything you'd get with two APTs (although wireless bridges are marginally faster than a client/Access point setup).
