As long there is Access Point as the head-end, the setup is workable and only 1 Mac is being seen from that AP. You can’t have the AB at the head-end to get to internet due to Mac translation occurs.

Yes you need to have the APPO on the side that the most MAC addresses

are coming from (the internet) because the ABO will only "see" 64 MAC

addresses on the ethernet side.  I have a temporary link setup for a

customer APPO-->>ABO<<ethernet>>ABO<<--APPO that works well with the

ABO's talking ethernet.  I don't have to worry them about the 64 MAC

address limit on the ethernet side because the ABO's will only see the

MAC address of each other.  At least this is my understanding.  I

wouldn't do it this way for a permanent fix, but I only need this until

I get their tower up.  I haven't had any trouble with my APPO<<>>APPO

ptp link.

Yepp.

NOC->> APPO ~~~~~~ APPO (in client bridge mode)

Or aPPO (ptp mode) ~~~~ aPPo (ptp mode)

Just keep in mind in ptp mode you have no usable alignment tools so best

is to setup then in AP and client mode and align one side then switch

around AP and client and align the other side. Then when that is done

set them to ptp mode. However I heard people that have had unreliable

performance with aPPO in ptp mode. Granted I not heard this from anyone

in a longer while now so it could been a issue that gotten fixed in the

later firmwares. Dunno..
