I am with you on the black magic theory.

Atleast with the leaves off you have a few months to expand into that area
an at the same time you can make links which means instant $$$.

The experience with anything below 65-70% of rssi seems to fluctuate between
5.5 and 2 with some percentage of 11. But what I was getting at was even if
it is 11 it is half-duplex so it would only be 4 or 5 but hey that's good
enough for me, but you always want the best connection for the customer as
well as you so they can't hijack the ap with a lower connection speed.

But if it's 50 now with no to little leaves, just ( I mean don't ) wait
until Spring when leaves start getting really really juicy.

We've got some 40's and 50's working at a distance but with good clear los,
those numbers to me are on the bubble or fence so to speak, and any changes
in environment ( leaves coming back ) will be a detriment.

;)

Course then again there is the 10% black magic theory.
