You'll be turning off all the non-IP protocols as well as any packet that modifies a "normal" IP packet. Non-IP protocol examples are IPX/SPX, DECnet, PPP, MPPP and a bunch of others that most people don't use. However, a *SERIOUS* problem that I ran into is that turning it off also turns of PPPoE (point to point protocol over ethernet). This was disastrous, as our entire network runs off of PPPoE, and it took us a while to figure out that, despite the fact that there are Ips and such involved, PPPoE is indeed NOT IP.
