Dear Friends,   As mentioned in my earlier message below, the pre-orders for the airPoint XO and XO2 products have been exceptionally strong. We are working hard to pull-in the lead-time of the components to ramp even faster.   As you may know, the PoE Outdoor is a standard accessory item to the XO products and also sold as a standalone item. However, all the planned production for PoEO is now required to support the demand for XO family.   As a result we need to delay the shipments of the standalone PoEO (sB2830) till January 2004. We had planned to begin the shipments by now but we are running about 4 weeks late. We expect to start the shipments in 1st half of December. This means the products will be on the distribution shelf by about 3rd week of December. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you.   This week we have begun the beta testing of the firmware in the field. Preliminary results look encouraging. We will expand the beta testing to a larger number of users in the next few days. Our plan is to wait for the exhaustive field testing prior to the release of the product.    Customer response has been tremendous. Due to the exceptionally strong pre-bookings we had to upwardly revise our production plan a few times. We are a privately held company and hence do not release the revenue numbers. But just to give you guys an idea, XO products pre-bookings alone represent about 12% of our entire year 2003 revenue.
