I run
kismet on my zaurus but I am just using a prisim2 CF card with it. I haven't
mess with trying a different card or trying to put an ext connector on the one I
have. Kismet was a bit of a bear to get installed. I installed it onto my SD
memory card instead of internal flash though so it may be much easier if you
just install it to interna flash. It does work well even with the CF card built
in antenna. It is kind of a dead give away when you can see a competitors tower
from 6 miles away with a CF card that they are pushing power limits a
bit.

Subject: RE: [smartBridges] NetStumbler
I had tried opening up a MA701 to put an external antenna on it, but I broke my first card. (Won't be trying it again with my second card for awhile.)
Kismet on the Zaurus has in its configuration menu an option for either prism2 cards or orinoco cards. I haven't tried an orinico card myself. Can anyone name an orinoco card so that I can check up on this?
