I run MRTG on all my CPEs. The net effect on this is that all radios are hit every 5 minutes. If there are any lockups (120+ CPEs), I only hear about them twice a month. ..meaning that either they don't lock up, or the customers know to reboot them.
I'm running 1.04 on most (1.07 on about 15-20 units), static IPs on the radios and DHCP on CPE routers. And I have yet to use SimpleDeploy.
