MRTG is so easy, you just started the programme, then enter the
community name & adress & it will show you all PPPOE accountthat are
available, you just click the one you want to manage & voila... It's
done.
But maybe it will not do the job I want(monitoring the name.... Not the
number).

They also have advanced mode working with OID.
For this I need the OID & The Unit.

Does anybody happens to know those value in mikrotik ???

MRTG does the same thing by default using the interface number, which
changes each time a user logs off and back on. Instead of the interface
number you have to use their interface name. So for MRTG the line was,

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:
-\<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
:

The graph will stop when the user logs off, but it will pick up again
once they log back on, so you'll want to use the unknaszero and
withzeroes switches with MRTG. For PRTG I'm assuming it's about the
same. I haven't seen it so I don't know.

Hi all,

I run a program call paessler PRTG.

I can log my PPPOE account traffic in Mikrotik.
I'm currently monitoring 12 account & everything OK.

But 1 account will monitor for 1hre or so & then stop monitoring. Each
account monitored have a number & I notice this number will change when
it stop monitoring. I can created a new sensor for this account... All
OK for 1 hour & stop again.

Anyone understand what I mean & might have a clue to this issue ???
