as this drive seems to be a 4k sector device, we would be interested
how this drive reports its features.

Could you provide
    smartctl -r ioctl,2 -i ...
from this device?

Or alternatively (or additionally) report the output of "smartctl -i" with
smartmontools revision 3236 or newer (2011-01-07).
