When the SD28 hit the street they didn't comment anything about.
But from my experience ( more that 2 years now with XT-Momentus)
it simply has too much trouble if you are < SD28
When in June I put a second harddrive (raid0) in my laptop, the new one comes 
with sd26
and so I've asked them to give the unpublished sd26 cause my old one was sd25

In the middle of september, I've a big crash of the whole system (data 
corruption, strange load etc)
then I learn hardly that it's better to put the SD28

Now from that date I didn't have any more trouble
