Most entries will usually be added until next smartmontools release. It depends on available spare time, info available about the specific drive, etc. etc. Most of the former maintainers of the database are no longer active. SSDs with many unknown SMART attributes will not be added until a spec is available (e.g. Dell OEM Versions of Intel SSDs). HDDs have less priority as the default attribute set is usually sufficient.
