I've been using bzman, https://github.com/bassu/bzman, for several months to backup zones and zfs data sets via zfs send/receive onto ubuntu 14.04 twelve drive server. The bzman runs in GZ through cron nightly. It also sends me e-mail after the backups are complete and cleans up old snapshots once a week. It has exceeded my expectations so far.
