I think it is absolutely essential. I'm sorry that I forgot to include links to it, https://github.com/bixu/lx_kitchen , and the matrix in my email: - SmartOS LX Brand Compatibility https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YeL_ZLTmrGJDYtI5LNif6Y9SITBFP7DNirYfsPfjBDM/edit?usp=sharing I've run bixu/lx_kitchen a few times and look forward to collaborating as it will continue to have huge value as we go forward. It seems we're now needing to run more complex stacks to find the rough patches. bixu/lx_kitchen will help us be honest and set us to support newer linux kernel's and distribution versions. To date, there has been enough in our face issues and I've spent my time manually trying to isolate them. One bug that has stumped me is joyent/illumos-joyent#48 "unicorn doesn't work with lx zones". With rmustacc assistance, we got some good trace info, but using https://github.com/linux-test-project/ltp/blob/master/testcases/kernel/syscalls/accept4/accept4_01.c I haven't reproduced the issue. https://github.com/joyent/illumos-joyent/issues/48 ## Ask If someone has experience working with the ruby unicorn stack and can automate running this, this would be a huge help. ------------------------------------------- smartos-discuss Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/184463/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/184463/25769125-55cfbc00 Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=25769125&id_secret=25769125-7688e9fb Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
