Thanks Chris.  I figured out the problem with my LX zone.  I've been
testing with various linux apps and services I typically use and I'd
rsync'ed a bunch of data to my LX zone and inadvertently filled up the file
system.  The zone choked.

Once I remove some data from the main filesystem, life was good.
