What do you actually want to achieve? I’d like to have a front end for SmartOS. I’m proficient at managing SmartOS form the commandline, but some of my other staff are not. Id lIke to have a gui for smartos for some users and fifo is proematic In what way? Are there features it lacks? Are you having problems setting it up? No, I have gotten Fifo working, but it has a tendency to break. I’ll configure it in a zone and remark how nice it looks and then come back a week later and the Fifo services have hung or are otherwise offline. I’ll restart everything and get it up and going, but I can’t expect someone who is not familiar with working in SmartOS zones to get in and get fifo up and going again. If I had this person, then I wouldn’t need fifo.
