Based on that IP address/mask, isn’t the local reachable subnet limited to
172.28.40.1-172.28.43.255, making the gateway unreachable?
There was an error in the template it should have been a /19 subnet, not
/22. This doesn't normally stop a zone provisioning. Even with the
correct mask, install still times out.
Problem resolved! Creating the zone without a NIC worked, as did adding
the NIC later. I then discovered the address was a duplicate...
So I guess the NIC wouldn't have provisioned correctly hence the timeout.
