0. what is your boot device set to in BIOS? What is your boot media? (PXE, USB, CD) ? 1. Which path did you take? DD or zpool destroy? (if DD, did you let it overwrite whole disk? zfs stores some pool data also at the very end of disk if I recall correctly ...) 2. is the cursor blink before install or after? 3. did you do a new installation after erasing drives? 4. could you verify that you haven't dd'd also the USB stick? 5. what hardware is this?
