Spice requires an alternate QEMU build (per the wiki page).
In theory you could just copy all of the files (including the startm.zone file which is what triggers using the alternate QEMU binary) into the zone root filesystem and set a spice_port value with vmadm update.

Hey guys,

Is there a way to take an exiting VNC-KVM and move it over to Spice?

I mean, it sounds like a matter of just cloning the ZFS dataset that
represents the disk...

Anyway, please let me know if my intuition is correct or if there is
(or isn't) a way to do the migration. I don't particularly care if
it's a "dirty" or "untested" or "unsupported" solution -- hacks and
McGyver-isms welcome!

Thanks,
