Hi Robert,

I can confirm that the /etc/rc.local script in the CentOS-7 image is clobbering 
the files. Is it
safe to remove that script? AFAIK this wasn't an issue with earlier CentOS 
images. I may take a look
at the scripting on an earlier image for comparison.
