Tim,
I rent several dedicated servers ("root servers", as they call them) from
hetzner.de. Performance and support has been good for the most part, though I
did have one server that suffered from spontaneous reboots. It was
consumer-grade (Intel Core w/o ECC, with Seagate Barracuda drives), so I
switched to a Xeon model with ECC and enterprise SATA (also Seagate, sadly) and
have had no further problems.
Prices are very competitive.
