In which case you should file an ticket in the issue tracker[2] with the
details on the use case so that it can get added to a future release.

Having said that, as Bryan already noted, you can make changes in the
global zone with mdb, or to the /etc/system of the global zone using the
preboot[1] file loading mechanism of kernel.
