If I recall correctly, kssl is not supported in the non-global zone. More importantly, however, is the fact that kssl doesn't support TLS (whether v1.0, 1.1, or 1.2) which makes it pretty much unsafe to use at all for SSL termination. I'm not sure that it would make sense to try and jam support of newer versions into the kernel either.
