Hi Guys, 

Sorry for the delay in replying.  

I've got a home server running SmartOS and my thought was to suspend the server 
to RAM when it's not being accessed.  

In 24 hours the server is probably accessed 12-14 hours.  

Outside of those hours I'd have the server sleep and wake up once it detected 
network traffic.

I know this is an unusual use case for a server OS and probably unsupported.
