I have a disk I'm trying to use that has an old zpool from when I first starting testing with SmartOS. It was part of a 6 disk raidz1 pool. I've booted into single user mode and tried to import the old pool from that single disk and do a zpool destory, but there's not enough metadata there to import the old pool.
I want to use this disk in another install, but can't because of this old zpool. What is the best way to get rid of the old metadata on this disk?
