Since I know you've used my modified QEMU at various times in the past,
an important question is whether these VMs are using
the Joyent QEMU or my modified one.
My modified QEMU doesn't yet have support for Bardiche.
So, if you're using the Joyent QEMU, you may have found a bug, whereas
if you're using mine, it's not yet supported on
SmartOS versions post Bardiche and you'll need to roll back to the
previous version for now.
