Accord to the vmadm man page this should be the default:

maintain_resolvers:

    If set, the resolvers in /etc/resolv.conf inside the VM will be updated
    when the resolvers property is updated.

    type: boolean
    vmtype: OS
    listable: no
    create: yes
    update: yes
  *  default: false*

I haven't noticed /etc/resolv.conf been changedby just rebooting. In fact
dhcpagent doesn't seem to update it either - although I haven't bothered
testing this to much yet.
