Hey,

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this but I couldn't find any rules
against this.
Also, we do want more programs in pkgin, right?

"Multicat
Simple and efficient multicast and transport stream manipulation" - is a
program written by Videolan. We use it a lot in our I/O intensive
applications as we write from multicast to disk or from disk to multicast.

The project page can be found here:
http://www.videolan.org/projects/multicat.html
SVN here: http://svn.videolan.org/listing.php?repname=Multicat&path=%2F&sc=0

The job would be paid hourly, hourly price set after discussion, and the
project progress be written to bitbucket (git). Upstreaming to multicat
after this is done and including it in pkgin is fine.

Does anyone know this program or can estimate how hard or easy porting this
program would be? Please get back to me with your first impression after
looking at the code.

Regards,
