SmartOS uses pooled storage, so there's no concept of an instance being on one disk or another. You can add disks to the storage pool using zpool(1m). In general, you need to add storage in units of the same vdev topology as the existing vdevs; in your case, that would mean you'd be building a simple stripe. You'd have no redundancy. You could instead look into building a mirror with the 'attach' subcommand; you would then need to expand in units of 2 disks going forward, building a RAID-10-like topology. ------------------------------------------- smartos-discuss Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/184463/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/184463/25769125-55cfbc00 Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=25769125&id_secret=25769125-7688e9fb Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
