Hi Josh, I tried both ways to compare. "vmadm shutdown" took about 7
minutes after the timeout message occurred.

"shutdown -y -g 0 -i 5" immediately closed the connection as you'd expect,
but the VM stayed in "shutting_down" state for about the same amount,
roughly 6 or 7 minutes before finally switching to "stopped"
