Could you edit the line dns_resolver=8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4 to look like dns_resolver=192.168.1.1,8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4 and then sysinfo -u to update settings and try pinging again. Also did you rerun setup when you changed your nic card, if not, did you update the mac address in usbkey/config?
