Hi Everyone

We’ve recently implemented (in testing at this stage) a 2 way mirror zpool made
up of Intel DC S3700 SSDs. I’m wondering if anyone has any potential
optimisation tips for the zpool or datasets given that all the drives are SSDs
or whether the default configuration is about as good as it’ll get. I’ve run up
MSSQL 2012 servers (under KVM - I know, it isn’t ideal but thats what our
fantastic ERP system uses) and during a database restore I was seeing this:

> zpool iostat 1
---------- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- fastssd 86.2G 658G 1 51.7K 7.94K
410M zones 73.4G 8.62T 0 0 508 0 ---------- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- -----
fastssd 86.4G 658G 2 54.6K 11.9K 416M zones 73.4G 8.62T 0 0 507 0 ----------
----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- fastssd 86.6G 657G 2 57.7K 11.9K 417M zones
73.4G 8.62T 0 0 508 0 ---------- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ——

Thats by no means bad - just wondering if there is more to come out of the pool.

Thanks,
Dave
