I helped someone get to the serial console recently on a HP iLO. They were using SSH to get into the iLO, and the command to run is "VSP" (virtual serial port). The other command, "TEXTCONS", is _not_ generally what you want -- it's a crazy emulated VGA thing, rather than the serial port. Cheers. -- Joshua M.
