We are running SmartOS on two PRIMERGY RX300 S8 and on two PRIMERGY RX300 S7 for a long time without any problem. The only thing to report is related to the RAID card. Yes, we also have LSI cards branded by Fujitsu, and at the time of the purchase we did not worry about JBOD support, and in fact JBOD is not supported by Fujitsu, and it is disabled by default. But we managed to enable JBOD mode via the card BIOS: as stated, even if it works, Fujitsu doesn't support this configuration...
