I'll take a look at the rest hopefully shortly, but just wanted to
clarify one thing.

Sorry, here I actually meant that you saw a ton of I/O on the zone root,
eg. /zones/<uuid>. And it wasn't on the zvols of -disk0 and -disk1. I
was wondering if your D script had identified which files those were. We
could probably go fetch those out if it happens again with a slightly
different D script if not.
