Nahum, I think you are correct about a lot of images on it, but I think
there may be something more going on here. I've seen the same symptom, but
have not had a chance to dig into it. I noted that the the sdc imgadm
commands use different source tree, so I was going to see if the symptom
reproduced there as well and take it from there.

Sometimes

imgadm avail | head

returns right away and sometimes it doesn't return before I give up in
frustration.
