Sorry about this reply ... for whatever reason, my email client didn't have anything else in it - like the one I replied to was the most recent.

So, this email is pointless! as was the last one, please just ignore.

thanks,
Jack

Naw, I think you'll be fine. ZFS can sustain the loss of the ZIL and cache devices - they just rollback to being on-disk. Your data should actually be there, safe and sound. Your status is listed as Degraded, which is as it sounds - there's a ZIL missing, so it won't have SSD to use as ZIL - it just uses parts of the local pool for ZIL (someone correct me if I'm wrong here please)

On a side note, putting both the ZIL and the cache on a single MLC SSD is just begging for performance problems.

I created a slice on my SSD for the cache some days ago for my ZFS cache. Now somehow I did that wrong some time ago and the slice c2d0p2 seems to missing.

The SSD c2d0 is there. But slice c2d0p2 can not be found I guess..

Import pool

$ zpool import zones

Check status of pools

$ zpool status -v

List disks

$ format

(then just ^C to exit)

    Ok, sorry for this speedy post. But I seem to be logged in.

    Now how can I try to import my zones?

        It seems to work well, but when I rebooted my server from USB
        it starts asking all questions like it was a new installation.

    Drop down to the shell, ^D I believe, or you can reboot into the
    recovery mode. Check your pools. See if zones imported correctly.

    I think it'll only ask you the questions again if it doesn't find
    your zones pool
