Hi, there are few open source options for resource monitoring, e.g. zabbix, munin, collectd etc, but I won’t cover those.
From system commands, you might be interested in following ones: - vfsstat - logical I/O monitoring (this will give you requests and stats from VFS layer) - ziostat - ZFS read I/O monitoring - zonememstat - zone memory usage - prstat - CPU usage I wouldn’t advise diving into DTrace unless you master available commands.
