kind of confused here. You "wouldn't use a CPU cap with zones". Then how I can
assign CPU resources to a given zone?

Assume an 2-socket Xeon machine, each socket has 10 cores, each with 2 threads.
I want a zone with 4 threads, and would like the 4 threads from the same socket.

How I can achieve so?

Thanks.

Unlike KVMs, zones don't see VCPUs but the actual CPUs.

Unless you have a compelling reason to do so, I wouldn't use a CPU cap with
zones.
