CPU affinity isn't possible on LX brand zones. It is possible on SmartOS zones, but it doesn't result in the behavior that most developers would want. Someone else please chime in if I am incorrect, but what happens is that you have pinned to a single CPU but that CPU may not be scheduled for work and you end up waiting for the scheduler to give that CPU its fair share. It is far better to trust the scheduler. It is for this reason why it is important to disable CPU affinity and pinning in the JVM's GC settings when running in SmartOS zones.
