(Sending a direct email too because the topic is old and Fred could not notice this email. Please reply to the list). Fred, would you mind to provide more details about this?. I don't see any reference in the changelog and I am experiencing heavy KVM virtual disks corruptions when the ZVOL is configured as "sync=disabled". I know that that configuration is not safe if the host crashes, but it is supposed to be OK (and fast) if your host is stable. I was transferring several terabytes for a KVM guest with no VIRTIO support and the performance difference is huge (like 10x) and if I have a crash during the process, I can just delete and repeat. But what I was not ready to see were ZFS corruptions (inside the guest doing the "zfs receive") and, after a week of testing, I linked it to "sync=disable" and this looks like a bug. Since you are commenting something about filesystem corruptions in KVM guests, would you mind to provide more info? -- Jesús Cea Avión _/_/ _/_/_/ _/_/_/ [email protected] - http://www.jcea.es/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ Twitter: @jcea _/_/ _/_/ _/_/_/_/_/ jabber / xmpp:[email protected] _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "Things are not so easy" _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "My name is Dump, Core Dump" _/_/_/ _/_/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "El amor es poner tu felicidad en la felicidad de otro" - Leibniz
