(Usual caveats in case there's a command or approach I'm missing) I expect has been discussed to death, and I understand the reasoning / targeting use case for smartos, but still I would like vmadm and related to honor fully or first-matching aliases. That being said:
vmadm UUID/alias list-snapshots (I have to manually look at the zfs snapshots for a particular dataset?) vmadm UUID/alias clone NewAliasName (seems odd it's not built-in.) vmadm update UUID/alias filesystem= (currently must use zonecfg, see https://github.com/joyent/smartos-live/issues/257) vmadm delete UUID/alias - would prefer it prompt first w/ more info, use -y to bypass, something like: "Delete (brand) zone UUID, AKA AliasName? Parent image UUID, Parent Image Name (y/n)" ------------------------------------------- smartos-discuss Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/184463/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/184463/25769125-55cfbc00 Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=25769125&id_secret=25769125-7688e9fb Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
