Why do you want to use 14.04 when 16.04 is the current lts release ?
I am not familiar enough with ubuntu but do they really change their kernel
without changing releases ?
Anyway sorry but I don't think I can find the time to do that test, my
advice is just go with 16.04, they will stop supporting the other one anyway
