Yes, the PM963 is specified to be a NVMe 1.2 device per the official datasheet: http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/global/file/insight/2016/08/Samsung_PM963-1.pdf. We'll follow up with our local Samsung Microelectronics folks to see if we can get a sample so we can get the support for this cleaned up.
