Hi All, Something I thought might be of interest in this discussion; Some time ago I helped getting Triton support in upstream Hashicorp Packer. So you can now easily use use packer to create Triton / Joyent images: https://www.packer.io/docs/builders/triton.html
I use packer together with Salt to automagically create all kinds of images and deploy them with Terraform on Triton.
