The actual footprint for the smartOS install is pretty small, even
including some overhead for modifying config files and such if desired, so
if the host provider has servers that support bootable SD cards, that's an
option. (This includes, but not limited to, Dells w/ iDrac Enterprise or
whatever they call it, depending on what the marketing team decided for a
particular server generation.)
