A few months ago I ran into a problem booting SmartOS with my Myricom card set up for jumbo frames (MTU of 9000). It was working for a long time but stopped. I was wondering if anybody has a solution to the problem. My short-term fix was to set the MTU to 1500 and move on, but I then forgot to follow up with a bug report :). I’ve sense gotten back to it because my transmission rate on 10Gb optical is only about 3.4Gb with a 1500 MTU.
